Spring just around the corner?

I was just out feeding the goats and heard the Spring Peepers at the pond.  Think this, hearing the red-winged blackbirds this morning and seeing all the robins in the yard today signal Spring is on its way.  Like a fellow goatherd said yesterday I, too, am ready for tick and chigger season.  There's snow and ice and then there's ticks and chiggers.  Sounds charming, doesn't it.
