Bear or Sasquatch?

Last Sunday morning I was walking the fence line, checking on things, when I saw what remained of a deer that had tried to jump over the fence but had gotten it's hind leg caught in the wire. Something had eaten part of it, the blood still very bright red, and I thought whatever had happened was fairly recent. Sandy was in the pasture with me but would not come anywhere near there -- she just sat, watching, from fairly far off. I freed the leg from the fence and went on about my business. Later that afternoon, I told my neighbor (who is working on my fence) about it and wondered if the very large pile of poop (scat) that was by the carcass could be bear scat. He thought it was and told me I should be wearing my pistol when I'm out and about on the farm and that I had been careless hanging around the spot because the bear could have been close by.

I took some photos and sent them to my county agent who said it looked to him like it was either a bear or Sasquatch. (My agent is a funny guy.) He sent the photos to someone in L.R. to see what they say about it. Frankly, I'm hoping for Sasquatch.
