Betty's Last Chance

Big Red! If he can't do it, no bull can.

Big Red was delivered Sunday and I'm hoping he can save Betty. It's her last chance. After visiting Amos Airedales in Decatur on Saturday (not the right puppies for me), I stopped by the local abattoir . . . sounds much better than slaughterhouse don't you think. Met the owner, who is also the person who does all the work. Took a tour, saw the "killing room" and got all the details of how it's done and the whole process, all the way to the "hanging room" where the sides of beef, sheep, goats, deer, etc. hang in the freezer. Sobering, to say the least.
